Terms

These terms cover work you hire us for directly, outside Upwork. If you hire us through Upwork, Upwork's own terms apply to that contract. Ymanuehl Labs is Abner and Angel, based in General Santos, Philippines.

Quotes and estimates

The estimate on our contact form is an estimate, not a quote. Before any work starts, we confirm the scope, the price and the timeline in writing. All prices are in US dollars (USD).

Payment

You can pay by PayPal invoice, by bank transfer through Wise, or through Upwork. For fixed-price work we take 50% before we start and the other 50% at handover. Care plans are paid monthly.

Timelines and revisions

Each package lists its delivery time and number of revisions. Timelines start once the deposit is paid. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted in writing before we do it.

Ownership

Once the work is paid in full, the site, its content and the logins are yours. We only show your project in our portfolio if you say yes.

Hosting and domains

Hosting is not part of a website package unless we agree it in writing. We can set up hosting and a domain for you, guide you through buying them yourself, or host the site for you for a fee that we quote with your project. If you already have hosting, we use that.

Care plans

Care plans run month to month and you can cancel anytime. See refunds and cancelling below.

SEO

We do not promise rankings. We promise the SEO work, done properly and reported clearly.

Fixes

We back up a site before we touch it, and you get a report of what we fixed. If we cannot fix it, you do not pay.

Refunds and cancelling

If you cancel before we start, we refund your deposit in full. If you cancel after we start, we keep the deposit to cover the work done so far, and you do not pay the second 50%.

If you are not happy with the result, we first put it right with the revisions in your package. If we cannot deliver what we agreed in writing, we refund everything you have paid.

Fixes are no fix, no charge: if we cannot fix the problem, you do not pay, and any deposit is refunded in full.

Care plans can be cancelled anytime, with no lock-in. The month that has already started is not refunded. SEO work that has already been delivered is not refunded, because we never promise rankings.

Monthly ads management can be cancelled anytime, like the care plans. The ads setup fee is not refunded once the campaign is live. Your ad budget is paid to Google or Meta directly, so it never passes through us.
