Hearth & Hollow WooCommerce theme

What it is

Hearth & Hollow is a WooCommerce theme we designed and built for small brands that sell slowly made things: candles, ceramics, linen, decor. It is a block theme, so the owner edits pages in the normal WordPress editor, and it runs on standard WooCommerce for products, payments, shipping and coupons.

The live demo is a fictional shop with 39 products. Everything in it works, except that nothing is sold, shipped or charged.

What the shop does

• Finding products: live search with photos as you type, category chips, filters for price, material, colour and stock, and clear sorting.
• Product pages: photo zoom and gallery, option buttons and colour swatches, a quantity stepper, size, weight and material at a glance, care guides, and a sticky Add to cart bar on long pages.
• Offers that sell: a limited-time sale with a live countdown, a multi-buy discount applied in the cart, coupon codes, and a free-shipping bar in the cart, the cart drawer and the checkout.
• Trust and story: testimonials, a journal for care guides and brand stories, a wishlist that needs no account, and recently viewed products.

For the store owner

The owner changes the announcement bar, the multi-buy offer, the sale behaviour and the product page texts under Appearance > Hearth settings. Testimonials have their own section in the admin. A demo mode keeps a test shop safe: no order emails, no stock changes, and test orders cleared every day.

For developers

The theme exposes documented filters and actions for the parts a client usually wants to change: product card labels, the specs boxes, care texts, the trust list, the multi-buy discount and the testimonial cards. Testimonials are a custom post type with REST API support. The live search, wishlist and cart suggestions use WooCommerce’s public Store API, so there are no extra plugins.

Speed

Measured with Google PageSpeed Insights on the live demo (mobile): 92 for the home page and 88 for a product page, with no layout shift. Best practices 96.
